No matter where you want to be in life, your Career Center can help you with a path just right for you. The Career Center is located adjacent to the Counseling Center. The Career Center is open to individual students, to classes, to teachers, to parents, and to staff. The Career Center is a major source of valuable information about community resources (for job shadows, internships, and field trips), colleges and career opportunities (written, audio-visual and computer resources), and other post-secondary alternatives (apprenticeships, military, on-the-job training). The Career Center's staff assists students in various types of work-based learning experiences too.
The Career Center can help students to assess their interests, consider future options, choose courses that are right for them, discover talents and abilities, find a part-time job, plan their education, and decide on career options. Some of the services available in the Career Center are:
All students have the opportunity to use computerized interest inventories, college search, application software, and resume writing programs in the new Career Center/Counseling Computer Lab. The Career Center has current information on occupations in Washington State, as well as local counties and national publications.
